VD-400RS Second Camera for VD-16/8500

Supplied with a single 4.5M video cable extension which can be extended out to 30M

The camera has a small tail cable meaning you can mount it close to the main unit for recording inside the vehicle or by using the supplied extension can install on the rear window directed backwards

The camera is not waterproof and has integrated Infra-Red for short distance night time vision which when installed on the rear window (with the camera rotated to the rear of the vehicle) are blocked by the mount to prevent reflection back into the camera

It does not have an Infra-Red filter so low night sensitivity is enhanced and there is a slight pink colour evident during normal daylight operation

Ideal when you want to install the complete dual camera system setup in a second vehicle and can then easily transfer the main camera unit to the second vehicle

Camera is powered from the main recorder unit (VD-1600HD and VD-8500WHG) and operates on 5VDC with an NTSC video format
